Design Techniques For the designs of the pages, having things somewhat scattered and with an old look brings out the feel of what the metal genre tries to talk about. Having a sense of enjoyment despite the current condition is what makes the magazine stand out of the rest. Rather than being neat and tidy it instead goes its own way while still being readable. Strengths The strengths from this project would be the designing and coloring. The colors and the design makes a good combination of demonstrating and explaining what the magazine will be about and what genre it is. Just by looking at the contents page you can already tell that something dark and intense will be seen in the next few pages it being in image or text format. The consistency of the Font makes it for a more distinguished brand image, and makes it stand out amongst the other magazines and newspapers. Contact Sheet In the image above is the contact sheet of all the images that i've made and which i would use.
